I agree with most of you - Blizzard games, especially Starcraft, War3 because of its custom maps (they own, 92379587 games in one game) and Diablo I&II (III soon, I hope).
Besides that, Quake and Monkey Island Series.
Also (awww, dont shoot me for long thread) - Pirates !
Try Sid Meier`s (dunno if I got the last name right) Pirates! I finished it on "normal" with 186%(!) solved game
Still have to say, Zork took up alot of my early computer gaming time. And, it was extremely entertaining. With the graphics evolution, Half Life, Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I loved Max Payne, but, I rarely ever see it mentioned. If you've never played it, find it and give it a shot. Very fun shooter.
