Half-life - For an awesome, classic FPS Opposing Force - Another classic. Half-Life 2 - For the best FPS of our time. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - For making yourself want a computer upgrade, and living like a hero in a huge world. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - For laid back, fun. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - For comedy and annoyingly hard missions. Crazy Taxi - To laugh. Serious Sam 2 - If you don't feel like using your brain, and you just wanna kill massive ammounts of things. F.E.A.R. - If you wanna make youself want an upgrade, again, and if you wanna be scared to death.
Those are just a few, there's many many more.

Planescape: Torment (RPG) Civilization (TBS) Daggerfall (RPG) Championship Manager '93-'94 (SIM) Shogun: Total War (RTS)
although the titles are old, especially the graphics are hopelessly outdated, when I first played them I couldn't put them down anymore. Not many modern games have that effect anymore, no matter how wonderful they look.
World of Warcraft is completely awesome. I used to play Star Wars Galaxies, and though it always recieved poor reviews, I loved it. The changes they made ruined the game. Oh well. Civ is awesome too as it The Sims.

-Diablo 2 (Very very cool in its day... again a very fun and addictive game for its time) -Starcraft (Probably the best balanced RTS game made to date) -World of Warcraft (Huge game... Very very addictive) -Guild Wars (Cool graphics, interesting mission system and travel system) -Fallout 1 and 2 (Despite being turn based, its a facinating and luring world) -Half-Life 2 (Great story, amazing graphics) -Age of Empires (Great for those lazy and rainy saturdays -Quake 1 and 2 -Baulders Gate: The Shadows of Amn (amazing game, didnt like the sequel much) -Command and Conquer (very cool story, revolutionary RTS) -Command and conquer:red alert (cool storyline and very good RTS) -Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (OMG i love this game, the violence is awesome and the storyline was a little like Scarface imo. Sucks u cant swim tho. Tommy get some swim lessons jeez wtf) -GTA: San Andreas (cool graphics. again the GTA lines of games are definately great picks imo.) -HALO for PC (the story is very cool. Sci-fi for those nerds out there. The pvp aspect is sweet too. Warthog ATTACK! ZOOOOOM, PEW PEW!) - Call of Duty 1 and 2 (I think the single player missions are really cool in this series. A good portrayal of what WWII was like. Makes you hate war for sure.)
