Other MMOs. I know WoW looks great, but there's other stuff out there that's also great. Guild Wars, for example, has arguably the best PvP there is (but it's PvE is awful). Also, Age of Conan is coming up soon and it looks amazing all-round, but you'll need a pretty decent PC for it.

WoW is an awesome game but the monthly fee is a little much and the Blizzard Downloader can really be annoying.

I was looking at Age of Conan and I thought it looked sweet. The problem is when you have already invested so much time and effort on another MMORPG (in my case WoW), it is not that easy to abandon it and relinquish it for another. Success in PvE MMORPG's depends so much on time.

Burned out from WoW, and totally bewildered at the "E-Sport" direction it's going, but whatever.

Going to putt around in AoC till Aion comes out, which is what I'm really waiting for. Smiler

I think once you reach end game levels, WoW evolves into a Limits & Derivatives 101 class. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I definitely miss the days when the game was more about the exploration and the experience of the massive gameworld. Now, it's a big mess of numbers I have to keep track of.

I've had friends who "burn out" and "quit" the game, only to come back to it after a couple months or so. Once an RPG gamer, always will be, I guess.

Everquest 2 is a amazing MMO for the young adult. The graphics are outstanding on high and max settings. I still have a hard time raiding in PVP with lag due to needing more graphical power in my PC. I have 2 8800 GTS and 4GB ram w/ WD Raptor Hard Drive. Raiding in EQ2 is up to 24 vs 24. Lots of Back Stabbing and sword play. Macic classes can do huge amounts of damage as well. I have a Fury as my main healer and a Assassin as my main Melee class. PVP starts at lvl 10 in EQ2 and lvl 10 is only a few hours away. A skilled player can reach lvl 10 in no time. I like everquest2 because the community is my type of people and I have many female friends to adventure with. PVP is edge of seat and the pve content seems endless. People who have played WoW for a long time will go wild in EQ2 . I'm waiting for AoC to be delivered on the 21st.

EQ2 = 6 people to a group. 24 people in a x4 raid. I have been in a full raid and been fighting 2 other full raids. It was a 15 min of hard core pvp. If anyone wants to see what the eq2 pvp is all about, try the free trial. You will not be upset you tried. It is a huge world. Nagafen or Venekor are the best servers. Make sure its PVP. 24 classes available and 16 races I think. Very good lore and graphics. Seems like the Graphic Engine is new, I still get blown away in some of these zones.
