Other MMOs. I know WoW looks great, but there's other stuff out there that's also great. Guild Wars, for example, has arguably the best PvP there is (but it's PvE is awful). Also, Age of Conan is coming up soon and it looks amazing all-round, but you'll need a pretty decent PC for it.

WoW is an awesome game but the monthly fee is a little much and the Blizzard Downloader can really be annoying.

I was looking at Age of Conan and I thought it looked sweet. The problem is when you have already invested so much time and effort on another MMORPG (in my case WoW), it is not that easy to abandon it and relinquish it for another. Success in PvE MMORPG's depends so much on time.

Burned out from WoW, and totally bewildered at the "E-Sport" direction it's going, but whatever. Going to putt around in AoC till Aion comes out, which is what I'm really waiting for.

I think once you reach end game levels, WoW evolves into a Limits & Derivatives 101 class. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I definitely miss the days when the game was more about the exploration and the experience of the massive gameworld. Now, it's a big mess of numbers I have to keep track of. I've had friends who "burn out" and "quit" the game, only to come back to it after a couple months or so. Once an RPG gamer, always will be, I guess.
