let's face it, this is going to fall in the middle class' lap. these things always do. the wealthy have their pull in washington, so they'll be protected. we (middle class) have ours. ours lie in our collective voice, but we're kept divided by the notion that politicians care about each and every one of us. see, by aligning political affiliations with a moral compass, they've created a divide among us that we call left or right and we're no threat to the status quo in this country as long as we're squabbling over, in many cases what boils down to, ethical theory.

that said, the taxing of benefits would have to be much lower than what the tax would be on the wages if they were converted back into income, right? simply said, benefits would still need to remain beneficial. otherwise most would defect to public health care and there wouldn't be a large enough pool of money to tax in order to sustain the public health system. now, what of rising health care costs? do they really think that by insuring everyone it's going to eliminate that? hospital visits by the uninsured are only a small fraction of the problem where rising costs are concerned. so down the road when more funds are needed to prop up the public system, guess who they'll pass those costs down to in some form or another? it would appear that the suits are at it again, creating a problem that they'll claim only they can bail us out of to justify their own continued existence.

my ideas? i'd suggest the elected officials to take a pay cut, but that would breed corruption. instead, they ought to all participate in and contribute to public health care. or, take tax exemption status away from churches. they want a hand in politics, let them pay for it like the rest of us do. that alone would pay for the health care overhaul and take a considerable chunk out of the deficit.

A cadillac? Not if it isn't enviornmentally friendly. Wouldn't this scenario be weird? The government forcing us to by government made enviormentally friendly cars? Brainstorm that for a second.

How about brainstorming the correct 'buy,' jackass. How exactly did you manage to spell 'Environmentally' wrong twice in exactly the same manner?

While we are hypothesizing such ridiculous hypotheticals, imagine a world where people actually have to think before they speak or face execution? Brainstorm that for a second.

What kind of jackass are you? So I didn't win the spelling bee in third grade, so what? Are you on your period, Mike? Did kids beat you up in high school? Whatever it is that made you this way, it wasn't my fault. Alright?

Because being bullied in school and male menstruation are the only conceivable explanations for being tired of indulging in your nonsense.

Who the fuck doesn't know how to spell 'Environmental?' It's spelled exactly the way it sounds. Honestly, if you don't know the difference between 'by' and 'buy' you should be spending more time with a Bedford Handbook and less time shilling ignorant GOP. slogans on message boards.

When is the last time you posted about experimental indie folk? ...

You're not doing yourself any favors in these political threads. You have failed to make even one persuasive argument void of logical fallacies and are the butt of countless jokes. It's clear that you have no interest in actually learning anything and are just wasting all of our time. Just go.

You're a waste of air, Mike. Thank God this is a free country and I can do what I want when I want and I don't have ignorant Marxists like you telling me when I can speak.

I'm sorry about your period, science can do wonderful things these days to control mother nature. My advice you is that you look into it.
