And your teeth, too. Gatorade has more sugar in it than most sodas.

I like the Thomas Kemper brand of bottled soda in the U.S, i've only gotten it once because i don't live there, but it was amazing-all of the flavors.

Ha. Nobody likes soda anymore? I love a good egg cream. Or 7-up (ginger ale, sprite, &c. all the same thing) with grenadine.

Soda?? What dat?

In Terra Australis; the Great Southern Land, home of the Rainbow Serpent, creator of all...we call it soft drink.

There are some very tasty local brands, but the US brands dominate. I drink only juice, milk, water, and soft drink, so I know me sugar rushes.

The great thing about Coke and 7Up is that they mix with anything.

Yes. Although I prefer 7-up or Sprite because they change color when you put any of various syrups in them.

I'm a Diet Pepsi person. I prefer it to alcohol! I only drink non diet sodas in Europe or Mexico, because they make them with proper sugar, rather than the High Fructose Corn Syrup crap they use in the U S and A. I recently tried Coke Blak in France, and thought it was pretty good. The US version was just nasty.

I am a BIG TIME Coca-Cola drinker. I can't stand the taste of Pepsi & I try to only go to restaurants that serve it. Otherwise, this happens!

Unless they've changed the taste of Diet Pepsi, it's too sweet for me, so I'm into Diet Coke, but everybody tastes things (and does everything else) differently. I believe it's called genetics and/or being psycho.

I've always been a Pepsi hater. It stems from the fact that I've always perceived them as copycats, I think. Plus, I think it's too sweet. Blech, tastes like a bad attempt at medicine. Though recently I've lost interest in Coke, and I've been drinking more Sprite.

Hilarious! I didn't know you liked "Robot Chicken." Good call, you primate.

As for the topic at hand: around here they sell these delicious sodas from Mexico that are made differently than the ones in the U.S. They come in fruit flavors like Lime, Pineapple, Orange, Apple, etc. They are pretty good and I always try to buy them.

I also like a mean Cream Soda and I am also a Coca Cola fanatic, I love the regular version and in it's vanilla form as well.

I like Pepsi because its sweeter than Coke. Anyone else try the Coca Cola Blak?

Doesn't it sound like a blaxploitation movie of the 70s?

I also grew up drinking three Cuban sodas. My favorite of all was Materva, based on the mate plant. I also loved Jupiña and Ironbeer. (That's pronounced ē-ron-bér) Ironbeer tastes a lot like cream soda, so when the cubans first came to Miami (pronounced mee-ah-mee), they drank a bunch of cream soda. Jupiña, of course, tastes like pineapple. Look for them at your local hispanic market.
