This thread is for people to discuss Downloading from the Net. is it wrong or right, how can they stop it, will it ever be stopped?

I've studied this issue (or this issue based on a wider background) a bit. The link below is about some e-books I collected during the study. (you can download it).

I sum up my current opinion regarding this issue:
Downloading as a direct means for profit is not justified by now. But since "Downloading" is a term its meaning cover very broad scope, so if you are deploying "Downloading" to collect information and utilizing whatever information collected as a form of learning, entertaining, consuming, etc; it is not wrong (at least you have to pay the internet fees, right? Information from the net is not free under current economic models).
