I'm not sure this is the right topic, but the colored icon that signifies a new post has stayed colored for posts that are nearly two weeks old. Maybe it's just me.
I reserve the right to be entirely wrong.

quote: I think someone just played a joke on the forum. We had about three little kids on at the same time. I would suggest just deleted the threads, but that may be a knee-jerk reaction from someone who loves this forum and doesn't want it to turn into every single other forum on the web.
Yeah, seriously, one of them was in the chat room today and tried to pretend they were 20. I don't think we can delete threads just because someone is young, but if they constantly lie, then I don't have a problem with it.

I was going through the Forum Guidelines the other day & I came upon this at the bottom of the page. quote: All registered Forums users receive "Karma Points" for various tasks, such as posting a message to the Forums. As your total of Karma Points increases, you will notice that your title (which appears under your name when you post a message) will change. Metacritic editors and moderators may also award bonus points at their discretion. (Similarly, they may deduct points for failure to adhere to the guidelines above.)
I had never read this before & it brought 3 questions into my head: 1.What are the "various tasks" (other than by posting) by which you can increase Karma Points? 2.Has anyone ever recieved "Bonus Points"? 3.What do ya gotta do to earn "Bonus Points"? Just curious.

As E.T. said, "Be Good." Yes, people have gone up and gone down. The Mods and the Editors can adjust the points. I personally haven't changed more than 50 points around. You do get a point for each post you make, but I don't think there's anything in stone which says how you can go up or down. I guess it's a judgment call.

As long as I remain a Jedi, all is right in the world. When I realized that the only way I would ever become a Jedi was to post furiously on m/c...well....the rest is history..

Yeah, actually I think you may have gotten there faster then anyone I've ever seen, Ish. Maybe Monkey_Boy got there faster then you. I went about a year before I got it, and I thought I was posting a lot.

I got another question : At the top of the MAIN PAGE (where the forum catagories are listed), just under "Login/Join", it says, "Latest Post: 06 September 2006 11:18 PM" Why doesn't it ever change? Has it ALWAYS said that since the day it popped up, or did it just freeze up at that day & time? What the deal is?
