We have just enabled it. From the "New" drop-down menu near the top of the forums, select "Private Message."

It is helpful (but not mandatory) if you already have the person you wish to message in your list of Buddies if you send a message this way.

An even easier way is to find any post by the person you wish to message, and click on that person's name... a little menu will pop up, and select "Invite [PERSON] to a Private Topic"

You can see all of your private messages at anytime in your "My Space" area (which can be found in the "Go" menu). When someone receives a private message, they will also be sent an email notification so that they know it's there.

At least, that's how it seems to work so far.

I'll give it a shot right now, MME, and let you know how it turns out.

The PM feature is pretty great, I don't know if everyone knows about it but the instructions at the above post work well. It's a great way to talk to someone if you don't want everyone to read it. And a little flag/notification will pop up to let you know you have a "New PM," try it!
