This is a video made by a non-partisan group that also made a video exposing George W. Bush's corruption. It is incredibly informative and enlightening. If people wouldn't mind watching it I would like to discuss it.

Why don't you watch the video before you cast your judgment. This is meant to be a discussion of the video, not a bunch of blind presumptions. Watch it, then you will be qualified to comment on its content.
I assure you, Jones is not playing partisan politics here. He has exposed politicians from both sides of the aisle.

Write him off if you want, that's your prerogative. However, if you'd like to actually debate the information that he presented in his video, feel free. You strike me as the kind of person that is capable of intelligent debate, however I haven't seen any from you in this thread so far.
You're a mod, so you can pretty much say whatever you want, you don't have to play by the rules. But this thread is here to discuss the video not call names.

If you want to discuss 9/11 theories I'd be happy to, in a pertinent thread. This thread is not about Alex Jones, it's about a video that presents information that you can either choose to discuss and debate or not. (For the record, I don't know what happened on 9/11 and neither do you, all we know is what the corporate elite told us. If you want to put your faith in the corporate elite, that's your choice, I choose not to).
To the topic at hand, I understand that you don't like the idea of the man you voted for being shown as a puppet on a string, but that happens to be exactly what this video proves quite well.
This thread is about Alex Jones. As much as you don't want it to be, you can't take something like this seriously without looking at the person who made it. What's their angle? Is it truly just fact seeking, or are they trying to push an agenda? It's clear that the latter applies to Alex Jones.
You tried to pass it off as something made by some impartial hard-hitting journalist, and thats not the case.

I watched a bit, but I honestly couldn't take it seriously anymore after Joe Rogan showed up.
Listen, I don't know if you know anything about filmmaking, but it's pretty easy to take some 5 second soundbites and imagery out of context, throw up graphics like "secret" and "tyranny" and maybe throw in some illuminati symbols and make it seem like it's uncovering some conspiracy. That video is almost a parody of itself.

So you're not going to watch it. Well, thanks for stopping by. Glad to know you're so open-minded.
I am open minded, but what's the point of sitting through something that's so obviously ridiculous from the get-go.
For what it's worth, I would find a "documentary" about George Bush bombing the World Trade Center equally ridiculous, and wouldn't waste my time watching that either. It's not a liberal or conservative thing, I just like stuff like this to be, you know, true.

If someone tells me to listen to an album or watch a movie, I'm not just going to blindly watch it... they have to convince me it is worth my while.. so far, what I saw of it just had me laughing.
So, what about it opened your eyes? What was so incredible?
edit: btw I'm downloading it and I'm going to try and sit through it. This should be entertaining...
