As a USC (Southern Cal, not South Carolina) fan, I feel a little guilty starting this discussion at this time, when we're on top of the polls, but these forums didn't exist last year when we were scratching and clawing our way to the top. Please feel free to express your opinions about your college team, the BCS, or any injustices in the polls that need to be remedied.

I'll start with this one: It's beyond me that Fresno State, after going on the road to beat Washington and #14 Kansas State is now only # 19 in the Associated Press poll (and 20 in the ESPN/USA Today poll). That's a joke. Anyone who watched that K.State game saw last year's Big 12 champ get KILLED by the Bulldogs of Fresno State on their home field in Manhattan, Kansas, where the Wildcats rarely lose. Fresno State should have at LEAST replaced Kansas State at # 14. This seems like yet another case of the big, bad BCS schools excluding the non-BCS powers from their "party."

I'm not a fan of any one college team (none of my degree-granting schools even played in D1) but I did take some classes at Georgia and saw a few games there, so I follow the Bulldogs some. I agree with MGE about Fresno State...and after watching LSU and Georgia struggle in the last two weeks, I'd say the college season is wide-open for anyone to make a move. Whether or not the BCS will allow that to happen is an open question.

LETS GO HAWKS!!!! Being from Iowa (originally) I am a huge Hawkeye fan. They are in somewhat of a rebuilding stage, although they are still gonig to be very good this year. Their QB, Drew Tate, will probably be competing for the heisman in a couple years. He broke all of Drew Brees's Texas State records. I loved our '02 team with Brad Banks at the helm. I really thought we would put up a good fight going down to play USC in the Orange Bowl that year MGE, but man, you guys just detroyed us. USC is just so fast. What can you do when almost every guy on the team is a friggin' track star?! You guys are going to be amazing again this year. Good luck to you.

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back.

As good as Southern California has been the past few years, this was the only season that they went undefeated, along with Auburn and Utah. This season is the kind of season where a playoff schedule can be offered. Just even thinking of seeing two of these schools square off would have been pretty great.
