I once had an english professor who before every class would have us state our "Favorites" of various things. It was quite entertaining and we all enjoyed our time with him because of that. I believe that if we can transfer this idea in this thread, not only will it be entertaining, but it just may bring our community a little bit closer. Since we have much more time at this site than I did in my class I think it should be extended to "Least Favorites" as well. The object of this is to pick the most random things that you can think of that one may have a preference of, or you can just do traditional things if you feel the need to do so. I will start with:
Favorite type of wood?

Front closet, across from the front door, where the jackets are kept. Also where the dog treats and cat treats hide, so the dogs and cat are always trying to get in there...
And to kraftdeluxe:
Individually, probably pepperoni. But in combination, I'd go with the combo of sundried tomotoes, fresh garlic, and basil.
OK...let's go with:
Favorite artist or artwork
AND a least:
LEAST FAVORITE ANIMAL

One of my favorite artist would have to be Van Gogh, and although this piece is one of the most popular of his, I really like "Starry Night," most people have seen it but still very nice.
Least favorite animal...Birds, just filthy animals they are, specifically crows and vultures.
Favorite Album Artwork
AND
Least favorite type of cheese

Your first question is very difficult for me to answer, because I haven't found a single "Personality" that I actually like. I can tell you the ones that I dislike the worst, on a local rock station "Lex and Terry" have taken over the mornings, it is actually quite sad, 40 years old, balding men, with the maturity level of your average 6th grader.
I want to be original on this next question, I could just say "Algebra" and leave it at that, but there isn't any fun in that. I really disliked my "Environmental Science" class in high school, it seemed like a class create by the extreme left environmentalist, trying to tell the students that city expansion will be cataclysmic.
Favorite type of sea creature
AND
Least favorite Christmass gift (Doesn't have to be from this year)
I have two least favorite gifts, the first being a Michael W. Smith album, it seemed completely thoughtless to give a teenager who likes "Rock" something so bad. The album ties with one of those Old Navy half-zip pullovers, they are just the worst looking sweaters I have ever seen.
Hahahaha post 668 will destroy us all!!!

Favorite Sea Creature- I usually say bottlenose dolphin, but I've changed to California otter because of the whiskers. Least Favorite Christmas Present- I don't want to get into specifics, but I don't like the ones where you know somebody went out the day before and couldn't figure out what to get!
Favorite Beatles Song?
I'm not really into "leasts", but what the hey,
Least Favorite Beatles Song?
"Naked Woman, Naked Man Where did you get that nice sun tan?"

Showering is my favorite grooming activity. I can just think in there. I HATE shaving, though. Thankfully I have a light beard.
My least favorite Beatles song...I think "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" is pretty weak, all things considered. I also don't really dig "Yellow Submarine"...too cutesy.
How about...
Favorite Televison Program EVER
and
Least Favorite Fictional Character from movies, books, etc.

I can't answer the least favorite because there are too many, and do you mean badly acted or written, or mean, so you don't like them, or something else?
Favorite television show though: The Simpsons.
Favorite word There are so many cool words.
Sacamos los pesados revólveres (de pronto hubo revólveres en el sueño) y alegremente dimos muerte a los dioses.

That's a fair assessment of a lot of environmental studies courses. I teach Intro to Environmental Ethics and I always try to work in pieces that aren't strongly anti-expansionist. Personally, while I'm certainly not a radical Green, I'm getting REALLY tired of reckless and needless suburb building and the careless attitude of businesses and County Commissioners towards greenspace. In St. Louis, the latest trend seems to be Walgreens closing perfectly good, if old, stores, and building new ones across the street, leaving vacant buildings. In Atlanta, where I lived for 10 years, it's a disaster. Vacant superstores, built in the ealry 90's, are replaced by BIGGER superstores, built in the early 2000's. If your building ages TAHT much in 10 years, you've got a lousy builder. At the corner where my parents live, there was (in 1992, when they bought the house) NOTHING. Now there are 3 grocery stores, 6 fast food stops, 5 gas stations, and, THIS KILLS ME... FIVE PHARMACIES!!!! How many pharmacies does one corner need???
I'm not anti-business. I just think common sense needs to temper the dollar signs that city planners see when a business wants to come to the neighborhood.
End rant.
