My mom's mashed potatoes are always whipped with a little sour cream, horseradish, and garlic. MMM...mashed potatoes!
I do a lot of cooking, and I really enjoy playing around with flavors and spices. We've got a cool spice place in town (Penzey's) which has a great collection of all sorts of spices (including a TON of great curries!) and I pick a new one each time.

Its 12:30 in the morning on the east coast, but many of the Californians are still, busy on the forum. I on the other hand, am going to sleep goodnight all.

I just got my grads from last semester and, unfortunately, have to pay more money to retake a class that really has nothing to do with the profession that I am attempted to become. My greades are as follows:
English: B+ Business: A Public Speaking: A Algebra: D
I swear if I you give me a couple days with a time machine and algebra would never have existed.

My Final Exams are finally over. My grades should be coming in the mail within a week or two. Now I am just hanging around and doing nothing for 3 more days and then it's off to MEXICO!! Yeah baby! I can't wait.

Well finals start next week so, of course, I have decided to post on the boards rather than use my precious time to study. Pffft who needs studying anyway. Since everyones posting their grades I might as well pitch mine in-
While you guys are getting grades, I'm grading my students.
I've got a stack of 25 final exams and final papers from my intro philosophy class to grade tomorrow.
My Bioethics class has its final on Monday and papers are due then...and I only have 48 hours to grade all of that and post final grades. The University's exam schedule and grade schedule is really screwed this term.
This part of the term makes me wish I was a lawyer, or a bricklayer, or a slacker. This mcuh grading in such a short time hurts my brain.

I always complain about my work, but I respect teachers greatly, especially college level professors. They have so much work to do, so many students, and so little time to embark precious nuggets of information upon their disgruntled students. Keep up the good work PE.

Well, does everyone have their shopping done? I forgot to mention it here, but did any of you guys go out the day after Thanksgiving? Holy crap...NEVER AGAIN. I made the mistake of looking at the ads in the paper the night before and thought I had to go in for some of that stuff. It was mayhem, although I did get a nice 5 piece luggage set for my wife and I for $60.

Yea, well you see this one? This was my dream, my wish....and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back, I'm taking them all back. -Face
My wife went out at 6AM for the after-Thanksgiving sales and failed in almost all of her quests.
However...we went BACK out around 11 am (to the same stores) and found no lines and good bargains. Parking was ample, lines were short, and merchandise was plentiful.
Maybe we were lucky...

Ever since you had that little skateboard girl as your signature I always wondered if you were any good at the sport itself or if it was just a fun way of transportation.
p.s. Speaking of transportation have you guys heard of a sport called Freerunning or Le Parkour? It's when you just run and jump off, on, and over, all kinds of stuff; at the same time adding tricks in mid air and acrobatic jigs and shuffles to make it even crazier. I don't do it a lot because people either think your crazy or just a purse snatcher running away from the cops.

Yeah i heard somewhere in the states some kids where filming themselves doing that.Running and jumping off buildings and stuff like that. As they were taping it...they proceeded to "try" and jump across 2 large buildings like 20 stories high.Of course one of them did not make it and fell to his death...on camera.
And now his father is suing the company who owns the buildings for not puting up some kind of barrier so that couldnt have happend!??!!
WTF??
Is that not just completely asanine?
Just thought i would comment on that post...even if it doesnt fit the category.
