This is a much needed topic as i noticed it isnt anywhere in the forum. And if you're wondering...yes, a cobbler does count as a pie.

I've had some good pies in my day, (key lime, chocolate, grasshopper, peach...) but the best one has got to be plain old apple, especially with vanilla ice cream

Do I have to pick a fave? There's too many! Growing up, it was cherry, apple, berry, peach, but now with Marie Callendar's, I've got Key Lime, Chocolate Satin, Boston Cream, Peanut Butter...yowza already.

Mincemeat.

Just Kidding.

I'd say for traditional pie flavors, it's gotta be Pumpkin.

Pumpkin pie os the only pie I will eat. And even then I don't eat the crust, just the filling.

I don't get pie crusts. They are horrible for you and they don't taste good. Why do they exist? Why not just eat the stuff on the inside of the pie? That's what I do.

Because if there was no pie crust, it wouldn't be a pie(see definition below), it would just be the filling. And besides, not all pie crusts are bad. The frozen grocery store ones aren't that great, but homemade pie crust is awesome.

Main Entry: pie
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English
1 : a meat dish baked with biscuit or pastry crust -- compare POTPIE
2 : a dessert consisting of a filling (as of fruit or custard) in a pastry shell or topped with pastry or both

Favorite fruit pie flavor: Apple (with peach and cherry a close second)

Favorite creme pie flavor: Coconut creme (with chocolate a close second)

Now I'm hungry, darn it.

Not only that, but a pie crust made with lard, not butter. Most people my age (28) have never had a crust made with lard, but I highly recommend it. It is more flaky and tasty.

Yes, I have- very funny. My answer was simply out of boredom. As for a real answer, I'll go with apple.

Rhubarb or strawberry/rhubarb cobbler is oh so delicious. Apple pie is also top-notch
