Well we never said you had to have a minimum amount of games. I don't know if you are planning on missing anymore, but either way, I don't think anyone really cares. But if anyone does care, let us know.
Plus, I am a nice guy.

Christ! I'm afraid to try again. Oh well, here goes nothing!
Browns @ Pats Seattle @ Pittsburgh Carolina@ Saints Lions@ Skins Giants@ Jets Even though the Jets have home field advantage Miami @ Houston Atlanta @ Titans Jacksonville @ KC Arizona @ St Louis TB @ Indy Bolts @ Broncos Although everything is a little harder at Mile High. It's one place where home field advantage really means something Balto @ Niners I love em, but the Ravens are in free fall. 6-10 record for the season if we're lucky, then we can go into major rebuild mode by firing Billick, and retiring everyone over the age of 32-35 da Bears @ the Pack Best game of the week. And I stand by my innuendo that Brett Favre is taking steroids Dallas @ Buffalo
Packers and Cowboys are looking like the two best teams of the NFC, and possibly of the NFL. Is it time for the overdue NFC revival?

New England(of course) Pitt(because they're at home) Carolina(who on the Saints will cover Steve Smith?) Washington(I guarantee this victory. GUARANTEE) Jets(the Giants are due for a clunker) Miami(they have to win one eventually, right?) Tennessee(I'm not a Joey Harrington believer just yet) Jacksonville(I don't understand how K.C. is tied for first in their division) St. Louis(In Gus I Trust) Indianapolis(of course) Broncos(When in doubt, go with the home team) Baltimore(playing against Trent Dilfer) Green Bay(I'm beginning to believe the Bears aren't all that good) Dallas(I still have my doubts about Wade Phillips, but I'll wait until they show signs of letting up before betting against him)

I'm going to go with no. Green Bay would lose by 21 to Indianapolis and New England. Dallas would lose by 14. I think the interesting talk comes after Indianapolis and New England. Pittsburgh looked surprisingly vulnerable last week, and apparently Baltimore, San Diego, and Denver just aren't very good right now. The argument can be made that Dallas and Green Bay would be the third and fourth best teams. Here's how I would rank the top 5:
1. New England 2. Indianapolis 3. Dallas 4. Pittsburgh 5. Green Bay

I don't know, the Cowboys lose by 14? That seems harsh. Dallas did defeat the Colts last year. I think the Cowboys are for real and we will truly see how far they have come when New England pays them a visit, next Sunday.

I agree. I think that game next week will be one of the most interesting of the regular season.

Cardinals @ Rams Will the Rams ever win and hop on the Gus Bus? No way.
Falcons @ Titans The Titans are a great team and are only going to get better. The Falcons got a gutsy win last week against Houston but Vince Young is too good.
Panthers @ Saints Everyone will pick Carolina because the Saints stink but remember, the Panthers aren’t that good either. No Delhomme and the Saints coming off their bye, I’ll take New Orleans.
Browns @ Patriots The Browns have been a nice surprise so far, they are truly improving under a good coaching staff. The Patriots are good though, very good.
Lions @ Redskins So I heard the Lions have never won in Washington right? That’s interesting, like I said though, the Redskins stink and the Lions should be able to show this to everyone else.
Jaguars @ Chiefs These are two weird teams that are hard to figure out. The Chiefs were impressive last week, then again the Chargers stopped giving the ball to LT for whatever reason. I’ll take the Chiefs in that good atmosphere.
Dolphins @ Texans This might be a lot more than a five point win for the Texans. They need a win to bounce back off the loss to Atlanta and will continue to prove that they are for real.
Jets @ Giants This should be a fun game. The Giants have a better offense and the Jets continue to show us that the Patriots didn’t need the videotapes to pound them.
Seahawks @ Steelers I really don’t think Seattle is any good, at all. The Steelers had a tough loss but are still one of the best teams in that ultra-competitive AFC.
Colts @ Buccaneers This might be trap game for the Colts. They are undefeated and are going south to play a Tampa team that has a really good defense. However, the Bucs offense is not too good and the Colts are still the best team in the AFC.
Ravens @ 49ers This should be an interesting one as well. The Ravens were pounded last week, as were the 49ers. Could be a close game.
Chargers @ Broncos Why the heck did the Chargers hire Norv Turner? Anyways, go with Denver at home.
Bears @ Packers I would like to think that the Bears have the heart here to win on the road. That’s what I thought last week and then they blew the game against Detroit. Go with Favre—for now.
Bills @ Cowboys Let’s see, what to say? Hmm…so the Cowboy score a bunch, the Bills give up tons of yards. The Bills have the second-worst offense in the league. Yeah, that’s enough.

I'm differing by just one game with K/C, Fragile, and PRG. It seems that if we make good picks, everyone will rise, and if we make bad picks, then we'll all go down together...

One of my downfalls is I'll never pick against the Bears. When they're not playing well, that hurts me.

I read somewhere a statistician explaining that if you just pick the home team for every game, no matter who's playing who, you'll be right approximately 58% of the time. This is over the course of an entire season, not weekly.

Where else but MC would you find a Decemberists quote in an NFL discussion!

I was punished for my lack of faith in my team. I will have to sacrifice a bowl of Nachos to the football gods to atone for my apostasy.
