Kendo, curious why you have the city on some games and the team name in others. Any reason, or just random?

Random. In many ways it's how I primarily think of the team. I don't always remember that the Buccaneers are from Tampa, and I when I picture Roethlisberger et al, I just picture Pittsburgh. No rhyme or reason to it, though.
I may never acknowledge that the Colts are from...well, you know where.

Agh, so you're a Ravens fan. I'm a diehard Steelers fan (born in Pittsburgh). And you were one of my favorite posters here
I never seen a team completely manhandle the Steelers like the Ravens did last year. For my own sanity, hopefully it changes this year!
Everyone has such high optimism for their respective favorite team and I also have that same opinion about my team.
Although the Cowboys defense gave up a lot of points and some big plays, the offense looked sharp and some small changes on defense should really help out. Tons of weapons plus playing in a weak conference helps as well. I think the Cowboys have the opportunity to do great things this year, hopefully tomorrow's game against the Dolphins is another win so they can start 2-0 for the first time, in a long time.

I'm living in the heart of Steelers country. I've learned to co-exist with them, for my own good. At least we can agree about the Bengals!

In my experience, the entire east coast seems to be Steeler country. Honestly, I admire how loyal their fans are. It seems like everywhere there are people, there are Steeler bars.

Wow, there are some really good games going on right now. The Colts lead the Titans 22-20 with two minutes left, the 49ers lead the Rams 71-16 with a minute and a half left and the Browns lead the Bengals 41-38 with 11 minutes still left in the game.

Wow, the Cincinnati @ Cleveland game is a fun one, over 1,000 total yards. But fucking "NFL contractual obligations" switched the game right as the Bengals were approaching the red zone with like 5 minutes left. For once, this season, I'd rather watch the end of a Bengals game than any of the Chiefs...

The Colts-Titans game was great. But I think you mean 17-16 for the 49ers vs. Rams.

It's obviously early in the season, but does anyone see any of these teams as real competitors? I'd be very surprised to see Detroit continue to win. You never know, though. They've been due for a long time, right?

The Lions have a long history of starting out strong, making you think they might be a contender, then descending into the deep pit of suckiness where they normally reside. This year would mark the 50th anniversary of their last NFL Championship though, so who knows...

The team that I see as having some potential in that group in San Francisco. I think Frank Gore is a hell of good running back, and I think that Alex Smith is starting to come into his own. Add a weak division and conference, and I could see them back into the playoffs with a 9-7 type record.

Isn't that the truth! I know the 'Skins supposedly sell the most merch, but I can't believe that the Steelers are very far behind
