You didn't watch the end? It was an exciting finish. You guys got robbed of a game-tying touchdown. There was a terrible offensive pass interference penalty on Todd Heap.

I actually couldn't watch. But I followed it at NFL.com. I didn't see the penalty, but, truthfully, I think we had really lost the game before that time. You can't turn the ball over 4 or 5 times, and win a game. McNair looked demented. And, by the time they send Kyle Boller in, it's time to curl into a ball and weep like a little girl.

Yeah, but then he flat dropped the pass that could have tied it up.
I went 13-3 last week.

Just now saw this link, but count me in. May be tough to catch up spotting you guys a head start, but I was a bookie for 2 years, so maybe I have a chance.

Sounds like a challenge to me.
Sure thing, Besttaste. I think PRG might win the whole thing, I saw the other year's NFL threads and he is pretty good. Then again, that's only when he doesn't bet against a whale's vagina.
Thanks for tallying up the standings Nougat, I started the thread but I did not want to tally everything up. I declare you the official tally-person and ranker—congratulations!

Only got to make up 1 game a week, although it is a lot tougher than it sounds.
Can I make a thread (I would keep score), where we make picks including the spread. I don't know if that would somehow be looked down on by metacritic. It would strictly be for RECREATIONAL purposes.

I don't think you would get enough participation, because it is a touchy subject. If mark says it's OK then go for it. Most of the people that would be interested are asleep already and they will voice their opinions on it tomorrow. I might do it but I don't know. Right now I am just staying up because Spoon is going to be on Leno tonight (new episode.)

I don't think anyone would look down on it. I just think it'll probably tough to get participation though, simply because this thread already exists. I think it could be fun if we do something like only pick the three games against the spread that they're the most confident about.
Oh, and FKA, I'm fairly certain I'm not going to tally the scores every week. While I appreciate you appointing me to the position that nobody else wants, I doubt that we need an official scorekeeper.

I won't do the spread link, doesn't sound like a whole lot of interest. But I will try to make a comeback on you guys who picked games in Week 1. Here are my Week 2 picks: Pitt Cinn Indy Car St. L GB Jaq T.B. Det Mia Ari Bal Den Chi N.E. Phi
