I got in; it was slow getting there, but it was up. Of course, this IS seven hours later. It's been up and down lately.

Yeah the site was down for two whole days so now I have to make up for what I have missed. No problem, but it made me realize how much I go to this site.

Hi guys,

Since the site has been redesigned, I am getting DNS pages when trying to view Metacritic from home.

Strangely enough though, I have no problems viewing it from work.

Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem. I phoned my friend and he can view metacritric on his machine but on mine it doesn't.
When i go to metacritic.com half the page gets displayed then all of a sudden i get that white screen saying "Page cannot be displayed"
When i hit the stop button just after half the page has loaded. I can use the search command that works fine. But when i click an anyother link i get "Page cannot be displayed"
Very Odd.

Its like it preventing me access to that site. Has my IP address been banned. Could it be my interent settings or firewall/router?

Bradcal when you load Metacritic.com can you see a bit of the page for a brief second?

Hi everyone,

Mac I'm having the same problem as you. I can only access the site through public proxy now
otherwise it's few seconds then "page not found".

I'm with NTL here in the uk, it's been over two weeks now, hope the admins will sort it out soon.

We love your site!

One of the primary causes for the downtime over the last few days (hopefully the only cause) is that InfoPop, the compnay which hosts our forums, was down at times for service (wihtout telling us!), which dragged down portions of the rest of the site, specifically the home page. That shouldn't be a problem now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you continue to experience problems accessing the site, please send us a quick note to "Website Problems" (via this page so our tech folks can act on it quickly.

Thanks for the reply Games Editor

I don't have any problem browsing the forums it's just the main site. The problem is still there and will use that link right away.

Thanks again.

Is anybody still having these problems today (January 20th)?

If so, can you please use the contact form referenced above, and be sure to include your email address when you fill out the form!

Thanks!
