This is my first post to this board. Am I correct that the messages are posted oldest first and the most recent last so that everyone has to scroll and physically go to the last page manually to get to the most recent message on any forum or thread? If so, is there any way we can change the order like other websites? Or how does one just go to the last posting?

Unless we have a glitch (there are a few), the LAST post will always be first. They SHOULD be presented in reverse order. Welcome to the site. I hope you feel comfortable here.

If you click on the post listed under "Last Topic", it automatically brings up the most recent post. This works both from the main page and from the interior pages.

???? With me the last post is THE LAST. It would be say on page 5 ect. I have never seen it reversed in over the year that i have been here.

When using the Table of Contents page, if you click on the Thread Title on the left side, then the most recent post will be last. If you click on the Latest Post column (same contents page) on the far right on the colored "by last poster name", then you should always get the most recent post to come up and scroll up to see the rest.

If you just want to see what you've missed since your last visit, click on the "Find" at the top of the Table of Contents page and then scroll down and click on "New Since Your Last Visit". That should give you all the most recent posts in reverse chronological order.

Ok, I understand your reasoning now.

Problem. Having been surfing through this website a little more, I believe I've begun to understand that the forums are presented in reserve chronological order from most recent to oldest. However, it seems that a problem, a more irritating one remains within the individual threads sometimes several pages long where the oldest message posted is presented first and then one has to physically click on the last page and then scroll down to the last message to locate the most recent message. Am I wrong and is there another way to quickly get the most recent messages within individual threads on this website?
