Thanks mark. I tried to explain to Frag in chat that I am serious about this mod thing. I have been here since 2005, I know my shit. I would be a good mod. And I have the time to dedicate to the site.
This is not a threat, and I don't plan on banning anybody when I become a mod, but...for the people who have voted against me, I will find out who you are and personally confront you about why you voted against me. Like I said, not to threaten you, just to discuss some things with you.

hey, I thought you were against our leaders interfering in our lives.
This smells like new legislation hud. Power corrupts?
You mean dreams of power corrupt?

Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

i voted for ya hudson... but only because i believe that the power of the forum should be spread around, not because of anything you have posted, if my dog could reach jedi status then he should be a moderator as well. He is a pretty cool dog.

What did Hudson think was going to happen by posting this poll? That there would be a blow out of Hudson supporters voting for him that would ensure his promotion to mod?

Well, unfortunately, the very tight knit and territorial group of mods most likely intimidate members into either voting against me or not voting at all. Now, I'm not saying that the mods go around pm'ing members telling them not to vote for me or anything like that.
See, the members here want to be accepted. But if they know that supporting me would put them on the bad side of the mods and the mod's buddies, they'd rather just keep it to themselves.
Personally, I have no doubt that the majority of regular members would love to see me as a mod. I'm one of the people, not one of the establishment.

Oh my yes...
I reckon hudson would do the right thing, worst case scenario, he abuses his power, and then he can be impeached Then all the moderators would have the pleasure of holding that over him.
I have to admit though; this forum wouldn't be even damn near as entertaining a read if it weren’t for all the crack pottery and continuous arguments between hudson, and well, the rest of the forum.

I think if hudson is going to run for Moderator, what changes can he make for the better?
One thing I've been wondering is why Eric hasn't changed the name of THIS thread yet
If elected, hudson, will you insure prompt and necessary attention to all areas of MC, and work in the best interests of all it’s users?
