The tab says Metacritic chat rooms. But there's only one. Will it ever change? Will there ever be a "music" chatroom, "movie" room, &c.? Or are there not enough people frequenting the chatroom for it to be worth doing?

My basic objection to religion is not that it isn't true; I like plenty of things that aren't true. It's that religion grants its adherents malign, intoxicating and morally corrosive sensations. -Philip Pullman

A man said to the universe:
"Sir, I exist!"
"However," replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me
A sense of obligation."

I saw a man pursuing the horizon;
Round and round they sped.
I was disturbed at this;
I accosted the man.
"It is futile," I said,
"You can never --"

"You lie," he cried,
And ran on.

They are two separate poems from Stephen Crane, better known as the author to The Red Badge of Courage.

I met a seer.
He held in his hands
The book of wisdom.
"Sir," I addressed him,
"Let me read."
"Child --" he began.
"Sir," I said,
"Think not that I am a child,
For already I know much
Of that which you hold.
Aye, much."

He smiled.
Then he opened the book
And held it before me. --
Strange that I should have grown so suddenly blind.

I didn't particularly like The Red Badge of Courage, but I rarely enjoy reading things when I am forced to do so. I should read it again.

And I'd like to be in the chat room right now, but am at work. Frowner
