You know what I miss about college? The Classes!
Half the time I was cutting class, sleeping in, partying, leaving early.

I would love to go back and take "Early Comparative Philosophy of the psychology of political music of the 14th century: a Marxist Perspective," or some such again. Without caring about grades.

That would be fun! Big Grin

I wonder if you're mythologizing me, like I do you

I am a currently doing my BA at UCSD, majoring in Human Biology, partly because of my parents wishing for me to go to medical school. Although I'm not exactly sure if that's the route i'll take, I can't complain because I like anything I learn. Plus how do you know if a job is right for you if you haven't experienced it? It seems to me that going to medical school is a wise choice - i just hope i don't regret it.

Hobbies: playing Piano/ writing music, basketball & tennis, skateboarding

I don't know anyone who doesn't look forward to getting out of school.

I don't know anyone who wanted to stay in high school, but it's a little different when you're in college. I know a few people who were really pretty bummed about graduating from college. The thing is, it's a lot more fun than high school is.

I hope so. I just graduated high school and I was pretty damn happy to get away from those superficially drenched walls. I can't wait for college. Oh, and I don't work (in response to the original thread question).

I'm jobless at the moment and there are myriad pressures on me to get one pronto. It's just so hard to find a nine-to-five where I live right now, it's redonkulous.

I know, I know! My parents' attic is way too cramped for all my girlfriend's pot and pans and if I drink the last of the milk one more time they'll probably start charging rent. Ei-carumba!

I wouldn't be in to much of a hurry. Work sucks!

As soon as I can figure out how to supply food, shelter, electric, cable, internet, and running water for free I'm retiring and living off the fat of the land.

Well Mr. president, appoint me to the head of one of your committees, I have little to no experience, so I should fit in well. Smiler

Hypothetically, if I was caught smuggling...plants...yeah, plants... into the country, could I get a pardon?

I don't know but i don't feel really...um..."useful" when i do a job that i don't care about. I feel more accomplished making a radio show once a week than work in a megastore 5 days a week...treated like an asshole who has to serve the big boss who does nothing all day long.......

...and work sucks indeed(we shouldn't have to say it, it's like 2+2=5. Thanks Thom Yorke.)

Listen you liberal do-nothings. If Cheney weren't spying on me 24-7 I might be able to have a conversation about these things, but as it stands, I'll have to go with my gut and torture every last one of you. (It's not torture.)
