I'm thinking of buying a new desktop that can comfortably run games like WoW, Oblivion, CS:S, and CoD4. Oh and Starcraft 2, of course. My friend recommend this deal for Gateway FX7026, how do you guys think? for that price, worth to buy? any other good suggestions?
I'm pretty nitpicky when spending money, so bear with me.
Those specs are better than my PC (mine only has 3Gig ram and on a 2.4 GHz), and the price is much lower than what I had to buy mine for (I bought mine from a retailer)...I also have the same exact video card. I run WoW on my PC relatively well and I think the video card pretty much determines how the game experience is gonna be coz it's all about the frame rate. I think for the quoted price, it's totally worth it.
Well as we all know the real test of a computer is can it run Crysis.. The computer looks like a solid deal, although you'd probably be better off building it yourself, but if you don't have the knowledge or want a warranty, it appears to be a good deal. A side note the Metacritic forums isn't the best place to ask for computer advice.
