Why yes I do have some thoughts.

The Bengals are screwed with this schedule. In addition to being in the AFC North (CLE, PITT, BAL) they have to play the NFC East (WASH, DAL, PHI, NYG) and the AFC South (INDI, JAC, HOU, TENN).

Just one National TV appearance: Thursday on NFL Network vs. Steelers....... what the hell? At least I have Sundays off.

It is just not fair. But they will still finish 11-5. Mark it down.

I'm a diehard Steelers fan, so I'm hoping for a different outcome Smiler

With the schedule the way it is for the AFC North, I doubt any team will be better than 9-7. I just hope it's the Steelers who have that record.

Football season has started!

The state of Pennsylvania is having a great day as both teams are routing their opponents. Why did I make the dumb choice of benching McNabb on my fantasy team? Oh yeah, that's because I got Peyton Manning, I hope he does great.

Did you see Brett Favre's wild fourth down throw? Boy, he sure has a deep love for the game.

My team plays in about half an hour, I can't wait.

The Denver Broncos are going to surprise people this year. I have faith in my team they will bounce back this season. Playing for first place in the west tonight against our hated rival the Raiders. GO BRONCOS!!!!!

We're a week late but if anyone wants to do something like we did last year where we make our picks and see who is the NFL guru of Metacritic, let me know. You can make your picks here—and also discuss what goes on in the league—and I will tabulate them week by week for us.

I believe besttasteinmusicever won the picking championship last year and was awarded with six Schrute Bucks. This year’s winner may even get seven. But come on, you know you want to, let's make some picks!

Wow, what a crazy Monday night game. The Cowboys pulled out a great win but the Eagles look like a very good team. I think that that could have been a preview of the NFC Championship game.

Yesterday had some great games too. The Broncos pulled out a wild one too, on a few questionable calls. It's good to see Peyton Manning improving and Eli and the Giants look pretty sweet. Also, I think the Bills could surprise some people this year, as will the Panthers. Finally, what's up with the Jets pulling the reins on Brett Favre? They need to let him throw the ball more, that's what they got him for.

I went 10-5 this week, made a couple of upset picks that didn't pull through (Jets, Browns) but overall, not bad. I shall return with my new picks sometime this week.

Great season so far huh?

My Cowboys are depleted and it was only getting worse until they traded for Roy Williams from the Lions. He's still young and is a big, athletic receiver. They gave up a lot for him but if it works out then it will be worth it.

Romo's out for four weeks and Jones was suspended but to many, that was expected. They've looked lackluster the past three games so here's to hoping they can right the ship. And it's not bad being 4-2 and tied for second in the best division in the NFL.

Speaking of the Lions (where Williams used to play), man those guys suck.

Well not quite 11-5, but with no Palmer and a shitty schedule, 4-11-1 ain't that bad. Still we start next season with a 3 game winning streak...only 9 months to go!

Yeah right man. The Bengals stink, period. They need a new coach, some new players and it wasn't just that schedule either. The Steelers played the hardest schedule in NFL history and did pretty well, last time I checked.

Don't even talk to me about the Cowboys disastrous end. It's very stressful being a Cowboys fan, very stressful.

A pleasant surprise for Ravens' fans yesterday. I never expected them to go this far this season. I'm painfully aware that the road to Tampa goes through Tennessee, and I think we might stall there. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the Chargers knock out the Colts. Still, I think it's going to be Titans v. Steelers, and I think the Titans will take it.

Well, actually the Steelers pre-season schedule was the hardest. After the season (when it really counts) the Bengals had played the most difficult schedule, right in front of the Lions. Not that it really matters.

I don't care who wins the SB as long as its not the Steelers.
