is metacritic going to add a hardware section for game consoles, dvd/cd/mp3 players, computers, and other stuff?

Just so you know, it's considered rather poor message board etiquette to make a torrent of threads telling the webmasters what their site REALLY SHOULD HAVE. Especially so when that seems to be the only reason you registered (after all, six of the seven posts you've made so far are topics like this).

I think adding in a hardware section would make metacritic a much worse site AND for that matter, a very different one.

Yeah, it's unlikely. What binds our genres together is that they're all entertainment-related products. The products themselves. Not the media through which you experience them. For that, our parent company does a pretty solid job (in my pre-aquisition opinion) of rating TVs, CD players, hardware, etc.

Metacritic is about reviewing various modes of entertainment. If you want hardware rated, you can always get a Consumer Guide.

Take it easy. There's nothing wrong with having suggestions.

I don't think that there will be something wrong if Metacritic added a hardware section, and for your information, I wasn't suggesting, I was asking, so next time please pay attention to what you read.
