There's once I flipped through GamePro about the previews of 2009. Mario Tennis Wii was one of them, but I don't have the time to read it.
I checked Wikipedia but there's no Mario Tennis Wii.... Then, I found out that there's a "New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis" game for Wii. THIS IS THE "MARIO TENNIS WII"?!?!?
NO! NO! NO!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, that's overreacting to you.
Actually, I hope this is not the Mario Tennis Wii game though.... I hope there are two Mario Tennis Wii games. Power Tennis and the new one.
Any comments?
AND NO ARGUMENTS, INSULTS, CRITICISMS.... THANK YOU.

So far, Nintendo is screwing over its die-hard fans in '09, while sleeping in gobs of cash.
The only thing we're getting that's remotely cool from them is Punch-Out Wii. A Pikmin and Mario Tennis re-make, WTF?!
Why not release Pikmin 3, with the first two games as unlockables, with added motion controls? Oh wait, that makes sense? Sorry, Nintendo, I didn't mean to just BLOW YOUR MIND.

Correction: Nintendo IS going to make Pikmin 3.

I assume they are, but why not just release that instead of the first one with Wii controls tacked on? Then, for extra value, they could bundle the first two Pikmin games as unlockables in the third game. Simple, effective, but they won't.

(Don't sue me since this one is quite similar to the other one)
I apologise for the overreacting! But...
I don't care if Nintendo didn't make any adventure games, it's just that they shouldn't make those remakes.
I mean, NES, SNES and even Game & Watch for the Game Boy are great, BUT THEY SHOULDN'T CREATE THOSE WII GAME REMAKES BASED ON GAMECUBE!!!
Come on, Nintendo, make a real Mario Tennis Wii game! Bring in Mario Golf Wii, and more of those Guitar Hero games!!! (See the "Do you think Nintendo should make these games for the Wii?" in the General Games Discussion)
Does that mean I ahve to punch them on the face to let them realize re-makes for Wii based on Gamecube make us disspointed?!?!?!
This is not PURE GOLD. This is PURE RUBBISH!
Nintendo Director: Dah! Let's make a new play control for the Mario Golf Toadstool Tour.
Paratroopa: *Hits Nintendo director on the face* NO! NO! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be good. I can't really complain anymore, I sold my Wii because I was in desperate need of cash.

I was wondering you need these cash for what.

Okay, let's stop this "selling the Wii argument"....
I checked Metacritic and it seems that New Play Control! Pikmin has favorable reviews. But G4 doesn't like the New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis.
In that review, one of the comments said that it's glad he sold his Wii.
I mean, come on, Nintendo!!! Bring in a REAL Mario Tennis Wii! Bring in the new characters like the princess is Super Mario Galaxy! Bring in the Galaxy Court!
Nintendo probably doesn't want to create Mario Tennis Wii....

Speaking of New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis, let's talk about New Play Control! Pikmin. When the game comes out, it could lessen the chances of Pikmin 3.
However,
"Cammie Dunaway: It's not the Pikmin that Miyamoto-san referred to, Miyamoto-san referred to a new Pikmin, as opposed to the classics that are being rereleased on Wii."
So relax. There will be a Pikmin 3.
Who knows? There will be Star Fox Wii, Kirby Wii, Ice Climbers Wii and more of those nice games.
While we are depressing about New Play Control! games..... Every cloud has a silver lining. Why?
There will be a "Mario & Sonic At The Winter Olympic Games"!!! YES!!!

Remember that the remote was originally for the cube, it did not have enough power to do the job...enter plan duct tape.
They said years ago at launch they would bring over some cube games with the new control scheme.
If they are BUDGET titles, then who cares? Personally I'm looking forward to Metroid Prime and 2 coming with the far better wiimote controls. and that Mario Tennis coming...did you ever play the cube version? Lots of fun.
Also you have to remember the Wii is a more powerful gamecube, if you have a great catalog of games you can bring over at a reduced cost utilizing a better control scheme...why not? Again if they are BUDGET priced.
Pikmin, Starfox...all of these IP's will have new entries at some point for Wii.
I recently played Pikmin for Wii. (The New Play Control). I don't have the Gamecube version though. I like the game, but I'm also dissapointed because, come on, Nintendo, bring in PIKMIN 3!!!

Nintendo is not screwing us over this year. The Wii is lined up to have a great year. Mad World came out early March (which has to be played before anyone b!tches that the Wii is getting no hardcore games), Punch Out!! comes out in two weeks, and The Conduit and Little King's Story (could they have made the name any more unappealing?), which happens to be the best possible game to satisfy Pikmin fans until Pikmin 3, come out on the same day in June. Looks like a great year coming, not another cheap one like most of last year.
