What a fantastic game, I would rate it 11 out of 10. does anyone know of a similar type of game?

Sadly RE4 stands alone on top of a mountain made of pure win. There are some other cool games in the vien, Manhunt 2 would be one. It plays okay, not as dark and not as good. I play like I'm watching a movie now and find I enjoy it more now.

If you can handle the controls and camera views - REmake for the Gamecube is AAA+++. That'd be Resident Evil, aka - REmake, check the cube section and do some research. You want scary? This delivers.

By similar games I am assuming you mean games with a shoulder cam shooter? The only ones that come to mind (none on the Wii)

Cold Fear <- Very similar to RE4 imo but has many faults and didn't do to well in sales. On PS2, PC, and I think Xbox, not sure about Xbox though.

Gears of War Now on PC, worth checking out for sure, great game.

Those are the first 2 I thought of and for some reason are the only 2 I can think of right now...
