What does everybody think of the latest offering from EA Sports - FIFA 10 (UK). Is it better than FIFA 09 All Play or worse.

Well my opinion out of 10 = 6, out of 100 = 70!!!

I copied this from someone's recent opinion and thought this best describes this very poor update of a Football classic -

- Total lack of depth, and customisable options.
- Cartoon like presentation
- Scoring goals is way too easy
- Defending is more about blind luck than skill or judgment
- Slide tackling almost always results in a foul/sending off
- online tournaments.
In the manager mode, or 'Battle for glory' mode, match length is 2mins a half, which cannot be altered. Also difficulty cannot be adjusted mid season. Player transfers is a farce, no negotiations involved at all, no contract options at all, and most dissapointly of all no money involved what so ever.

I was so looking forward to this years fifa i've purchased every edition since 1998 but EA have really dropped the ball with this years offering.

Yet another prime example of Wii owners being short changed with multiformat releases. I expect that the 360 & ps3 versons will have all the usual features & be true to the good name of Fifa, just a shame that 09 on wii was such a step in the right direction that 10 has done away with.

And that basically summarises why PS3 and XBOX 360 versions will be 100 times better than the WII version. Finally, stick with FIFA 09 All Play and just update your teams. Sorry EA Sports your've failed on this one.
