I cannot get the control to scoop out the flour can anybody give me instruction on what buttons or movement I need to get the motion right.

I don't have that game so I can't say but check out the gamefaqs message board on this game here or try this site I found.

I'm afraid you'll find lots of spoilers and the fun of adventure games are the puzzles... your choice.
