have had the wii for a month now and have a few games. used to be a pretty good tennis player and like the wii sports tennis pretty well but maxed out the scoring pretty quickly. noticed sega has a virtual tennis game that seems to be pretty realistic looking from the game reviews.
i love the fact that with wii i can swing and move around very much like in a real game using it's pretty good motion sensor. it's not all that accurate with it's timing but pretty good. and get bored with the doubles format. i can actually get my pulse up 40-50 pts during a match!
are there any plans to develop a virtual tennis game for wii that will use it's motion sensor like in a real tennis match?

Virtua Tennis isn't coming out for the Wii, but Top Spin is, and so is Sega's Superstars Tennis (which is developed by the developers of Virtua Tennis).
I'd keep a close eye on both of these projects.
