god its unbearable hes such a smarmy little shit cameron the friend is cool tho there are funny scenes but the monologue and pep talks like life moves fast if you dont slow down once in a while u might miss it are so pathetic god i hate it
Whether you hate it or love it, it's your right to do so. I give it a B+, even though I haven't seen it recently, so that's probably more on the love side.

Maybe you had to be a teenager at the time to appreciate the John Hughes movies. I love Ferris Bueller's Day Off...and all of the rest of them. His smarminess is part of his endearing charm.

Yes, thank you! I have always felt the same way about this stupid movie...and I saw it when I was a teen. I loved classic 80s John Hughes movies like Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, but aside from a few funny scenes that didn't involve Matthew Broderick, I wanted to throttle his punk @$$.
