If you love comedy and find a program like South Park to be funny then be sure to catch the under-appreciated "ARISTOCRATS". Watch the spelling of this title: it has nothing to do with the Disney cartoon which was all about our little feline friends. In fact one should be warned that The Aristocrats is definitely NOT FOR THE KIDDIES.
For adults who are entertained by great stand-up comedy and would welcome seeing a veritable clinic on the construction and telling of jokes this is the 90 minutes of pure pleasure. When I went to see it with a couple of friends, none of us knew how it would be possible to sustain interest in numerous tellings of the same joke.
Well the trick is that the joke is turned into an object of study for some very funny people who exhibit a side of themselves that you never realized they had. Not only are some comedians who we know only when they're doing shtick much smarter and better educated than we thought, but they are quite psychologically insightful. They are aware that every choice they make in writing and performing reveals something about themselves, something that they don't find that easy to acknowledge. We are allowed to see the vulnerability in even the most aggressively funny performers.
