Question:
Some people love it, some don't. I think all the movies were funny. Not my favorites, but funny and I like Mike Myers. Which one do you think is the best or the funniest. Or you can just share what you think of them here.

Choices:
1-International Man of Mystery
2-The Spy who Shagged Me
3-Goldmember

I'm not really a fan, but then again, I don't think they stink. I can laugh at some of the ridiculousness or occasional invention, but then I'll have to sit through five-plus minutes of something which is not funny in the least and often incomprehensible. I think the first five minutes of Number Three probably are the most entertaining things in the series, but then the next ten minutes have maybe one laugh and a ton of crap. I don't think I can vote because it would be a three-way tie for first...or last.

Well I saw "Spy who Shaged Me" first out of all of them and I loved it. It was simply the perfect movie for a night with the buddies. Then I saw "International Man of Mystery" which was hillarious, yes, but didnt have that special zing of being first. And when "Goldmember" came out my friends and I filled up two and a half rows on opening night and though I laughed it was overall VERY, VERY dissapointing. The whole Im gonna make fun of our own recycling of jokes was trying for the whole irony thing but it completely missed its target. And the fact that it had about three times too many "comedic characters" really ruined it for me. So "Spy who Shagged Me" gets my vote for being first and best!

I saw the first one in the theater and thought it was hysterical.

I was looking forward to the second one...thought it sucked. It was pretty much a warmed over version of #1...and it didn't even have Elizabeth Hurley!

I didn't want to see "Goldmember", but I heard it was better than #2, so off I went. Big mistake...I thought it was the worst of the three, despite having Beyonce Knowles in the cast!

Verdict: Like Wayne's World, Mike Myers can not make a sequel. I don't care how much #2 and #3 grossed...they stunk.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!

First of all number 85, Austin Powers 2 is funnier and better than the first one, I mean, Fat Bastard and Mini Me are hilarious, no? Throw me a freaking bone here!

As for Hurley, she was truly annoying (if hot) and I really liked Felicity Shagwell (shag very well by reputation)

Goldmember was not that good, that is true. It wasn't as funny as it's predecessors, and most of the jokes (and the story) were tired. Although I loved the cameo-filled first scene.

I hope Mike Myers doesn't do a billion sequels!
The freaking Austin Powers series should stop now and Mike should find another freaking funny thing to do.

I thought that the funniest character of all was Will Ferrell as Mustafa in numbers one and two. I was really dissapointed that they didnt bring him back in Goldmember. If you dont remember Mustafa, he was the one who kept "dying" but then coming back only to be badly hurt but still alive. Some of his lines were hilarious.
