This movie was funny. It was not in any way nearly as good as the show in general, but it was still very funny. The first half was definitely the best half. It's been quite some time since I saw it, so I can't think of much to say about it. But I play the same instruments as that Irish kid. That's sort of a...coincidence. "[...]To all of which, I admit, I had nothing to answer, for it was but the truth. So I refrained from launching into useless palavers and quibbling, and, immediately drawing the two pistols which I had in my belt, I fired them both, by way of argument, into the faces of this droll fellow and his accomplice, which spared me the necessity of speech and ended the quarrel in the best possible way." - Louis Adhémar Timothée Le Golif

I finally got to watch the whole thing last night and I'm confused. At the end of the movie, it lists Kang in the credits, but I didn't see him anywhere! I thought I had missed him when I took my son to the bathroom when we saw it in theaters, my wife even told me I did! I'm thinkin' she has no idea who Kang is. Good news, everyone! Homer's pig didn't die when the house was sucked into the sinkhole! He's in the deleted scenes painting Santa's Little Helper's doghouse at the end!
"I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

The simpsons have been crap since 99. I didn't bother watching the movie as I knew it would be a 90 minute version of the shit they have on tv now. what a joke.
I've upped my standards, now up yours.
