I saw this last weekend and loved it. Sure, its stupid slap stick/fart joke styled humor and the plot is predictable, but the film is so obviously aware of its own ridiculousness, and clearly intends to take the piss out of itself that at the end of the day, its comedy, and its kind of hard not to just lighten up and laugh at the idiocy of it all.

I guess it also helps if you’re already a fan of Sandler’s comedy, which I am.

this movie is pretty bad. It's like the 1000000th time you'll see a movie of that kind of copy of another copy. Predictable, repetitive jokes, horrible story. Don't waste your time.

This was so horrible. And Adam Sandler is usually funny (even though the fart jokes can get old).

and did anyone else find the sexual humor disgusting? I mean the having sex with 80 year old women in the back room almost made me vomit.

I thought it was kind of funny that he slept his way to the top of the hair dressing industry, considering that the notion itself is ridiculous, that it was with elderly woman, and the insinuation that he was doing it as some sort of a courtesy thing.

The hair dressing montages were probably the funniest part in the film for me, and I thought the insane super powers were also good for some cheap laughs.

At the end of the day, Sandler was parodying himself, and using the same old formats (Stereotype wants to become something, and is stuck in the 80’s, etc) the only major difference being that he went over board with the crazy this time around. The whole movie was really zany, which I can deal with.

Adam Sandler's latest movie is extremely specialized, thus receiving a slew of bad reviews from other movie critics. Sure, there are some crude elements, some pointless humor, and it may be inappropriate for some; but You Don't Mess with the Zohan was an overall enjoyable experience, filled with many hilarious cultural jokes. Most of the movie was written before 9/11, so you will see some political views that were formulated years ago; but still hold true to this day. Sandler uses his Jewish heritage to make a lot of jokes in this movie, and it helps to be from New York to understand a lot of the jokes.

There is no one like the Zohan; he is the mensch of Israel. But after deciding to leave his home country for America, he looks for opportunity in the field of hair styling. Things are very tough for him as he starts out, but Zohan finds his niche in America and becomes a successful hair stylist (not forgetting the hilarity of his techniques). After a long stint in his occupation, he gets discovered by his former countrymen, and they want him back! Will Zohan defeat the enemy? Or will all violence break loose? Check out the thrilling conclusion of Zohan to find out!

It was another one of those stupid funny movies. It was fun for a couple seconds, but it wasn't like the best movie ever. Yeah it was predictable and some parts were funny, but the plot really sucked.

The jokes were kinda over the top but at the end of the day the movie displayed a bunch of themes, racism, war, hate crimes, corporate power, etc...which are all present in today's world.
