Reed – “ What do you think of having two Television sets? “ Malloy- “ You mean for one for each eye? I live alone, remember?” Reed – “ I wasn’t talking about you. I was talking about me. “
Surprised this thread has remained idle for so long. I'm a magazine whore.
The Economist - Oh, that dry British humor. The DuPont Registry - Oh, I want what I can't have. Car and Driver - See above Guitar Word, Guitar Player, etc. - I wanna rawk! Art in America - No one understands me... Architectural Digest - (got nothing for this one.) US Weekly - b/c my girlfriend's roommate's friend's friend leaves it on our coffee table and I can't... put it... down!

I love magazines too. Here's what I currently subscribe to:
1.) Harper's - God, I love this mag. Thoughtful, analytical articles mixed with short stories and humorous asides. 2.) Scientific American - I try to keep up with scientific trends. And you don't need a PhD in physics to understand it. 3.) Rolling Stone - Rolling Stone is good for its thoughtful articles on bands from the 60s and 70s. So this mag is good for keeping up with the dinosaurs of the rock world. They've been a little clueless about new cutting-edge bands, but they've seemed to have improved on that a little too. 4.) Paste - Just a good overall alternative art mag. They cover movies, literature, music and now even video games that aren't typically mainstream. 5.) Wire - I get my avant-garde music coverage from this mag. I don't always agree with their recommendations, and it's an expensive subscription (it cost me about a hundred dollars for one year), but I'm excited when it appears in my mailbox. 6.) Under the Radar - This mag is good for indie rock coverage, and it's not too snobby.

The New Yorker - I'm an elitist snob. Deal with it. Foreign Affairs Magazine - Great IR articles Cabinet - Artsy magazine from Brooklyn (aren't they all) Scandinavian Review - Spent time in Sweden, am interested in Scandinavian history/culture
It ain't hallelujah, but it might as well have been.

I came across a book called “GA is for Bitches” on Amazon.com and wanted to know if anyone has read it? I’m just curious on how the whole +120 straight wager system works. If anyone knows please PM me!
