What books did you love as a child? These include books someone read to you, before you could read very well, and books you read yourself during the elementary school years. Books from any "era" may be included!
My favorite kids book of all time has to be Astrid Lingren's "The Brothers Lionheart". Can appeal to both children and adults. Teaches family values of brotherhood, and trust. Gets a little weird at the end, especially concerning death, but still an awesome read.
It ain't hallelujah, but it might as well have been.
