You can go there to get information but i'll try to explain as best as possible: You sign up and then purchase a "stamp set" in which you stamp your books and then leave them in some part of your town. Other members of BookCrossing find your book via the directions you posted online, read it, then post their own review and proceed to leave it in a different location. I think it's a truly wonderful idea. Is anyone a member, here at the forums??

I joined last year some time, but never really picked up any books (or, for that matter, left any on department lounges). When you don't live in a big city, it's just not practical.
