To whose picks are you referring? If mine, I would love to hear your selections - especially if you think that my Best Actress pick is the only plausible prediction on the list.

Well that sort of stifles the discussion. Anyone else have something to say about their Oscar predictions?

Your picks, NButler, are pretty good. I'm hoping that Paul Giamatti reprises his SAG win, but otherwise, I'd go with Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography (these are predictions. I wouldn't personally vote for it in any of those categories.) Hoffman and Witherspoon for the Best Actor Awards, but the Supporting Actress seems completely up for grabs (as is often the case.) I also think Crash will win Original Script. I agree with you on Wallace and Gromit, but I don't think Paradise Now will win. Tsotsi, Sophie Scholl or Joyeux Noel, but don't ask me which one. Enron seems like a good choice, but don't count out the popularity of March of the Penguins.
