Hi, first post and happy to be aboard the forum!

I need help, I am trying to get the title of a song, late 70s or 80s and the beggining lyrics go as follws,
"People all around the world, stand up and be counted", thats all I have to go on but its driving me berserk with it running through my head. I think another bit goes "All different colours, trust in your faith" or something similar.

Thanks

a simple google search with the keywords "lyric People all around the world, stand up and be counted" will probably help you find it.

But did you use google France? Wink

I tried looking through several "lyric based" searches using "People all around the world stand up and be counted" (note: it probably helps to remove the comma and other punctuation) but haven't found anything more than what I could get from google: Powderfinger - "Blackfella Whitefella" courtesy of songmeanings. Though, according to the sole comment, it "is a cover. The original song is by Warumpi Band".

If you know the artist then www.songmeanings.net is relatively easy to search through a particular artist's song collection without getting overwhelmed by pop-up/flash ads. If you heard this song recently on a U.S. radio station and you know the station/date (within a week of hearing it) I'd suggest using www.yes.com. Of course you'd have to find the station, remember the date, and most importantly the time, and even then the records are usually incomplete.

That will be $59 for parts and labor.
