Does anybody remember movie marathons at the Drive-In? Here in Oz, the Drive-In is dying, and a wonderful age is passing...so I thought I wld post my 12 hr Film Fest....
In memory of all those nights camped at the back of the station wagon..
6pm. The Thing (1982)
8pm. Used Cars
10pm American Grafitti
Midnight. Car Wash (1976)
2am. Star Wars
4am. Evil Dead
6am. FIN
Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been, Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene; As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be, So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Yeah, we got a lot of Tom & Jerry, and Warner Bros. stuff, like Daffy Duck vs. Elmer....
However, it wasn't so much that the drive-ins played those...our local cinemas were more into that intermission palaver.
Our drive-ins most of the time just showed 2 features....and local advertising....god i miss my drive-in...boo hoo hoo...
