and I just had a few questions. Can you have an avatar on this site? If you want to change your signature, how do you? And navigation throughout the forums is confusing and annoying. Could you explain it in a way that it's clear? I've come from rottentomatoes, if that's any help.

Hi, bsk. First off, we don't use avatars. To change your signature, click on your own name and click to view your profile. Scroll down to the box with your sig in it, and you can change and update/submit it there.

To edit a post, go to the bottom right corner of your post and click on the image in the middle, the one with a pencil eraser on a folder. That will bring up your post and allow you to edit it.

As far as navigation problems, you can just go to the forum table of contents page to see what the different forums have in them, or if you want to get into the middle of the latest discussions, you can go to the top left side of any page and click on the "Find" tab. Then you can scroll down to "New Since Your Last Visit". If you click on that, it'll give you all the posts made since you last showed up, beginning with the most recent.

I hope that helps some and that you enjoy your time here. Cool

One more question; what is the "karma" for?

You can check that in your profile too. Everytime you post, you add karma. For example, right here it says you're a slacker, but I bet you're a Slacker First-Class by now. Cool

Crap, I didn't notice that typo.

One last question; does anybody know how to edit discussion titles?

I believe if you edit your first post, it lets you edit the title too.

I used to no how to do that, but I forgot. Big Grin

All joking aside, eric is right. If you edit your first post you can change the title.
