Oh monkey, you are cracking me up!!!! Big Grin

I noticed on another thread that you detested this particular film, so having seen it and found it bearable, I knew I had to bait you! Smiler

Of course its rubbish, but not say in the category of Epic Movie.

But anyhoo, to yr other little point, I don't hate Tarantino. I quite enjoy R.D & P.F, and the script for True Romance is good, but I do think he is a one=trick pony, hugely overrated and he made 2 very bad films w/ the Kill Bill series.

He deserves to be remembered as a minor talent who got a lot more recognition than he deserved, but good luck to him. I hope he writes sumthin' as good as Romance again one day. He shld however leave the directing alone. He is a weak, weak director.

Hope I don't haunt your dreams for too long...ha...I'm just cracking up here! Big Grin

Yeah, I know, HATE was too strong a word, but still, you don't like him all that much. I can't believe you don't like "Kill Bill"! What bothered you about it? My brother found it stupid because, "There is no way a woman could do all that!" I liked it for the revenge story & bloody action.

Um, yeah, ya did Roll Eyes. I tossed & turned until I heard my son up. So, I get no sleep today. Thanks alot for the trauma to my head. I recently had surgery in that region, you know?

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

Damn, I had no idea my words cld cause such drama..hee hee..sorry m-b, just look to my healing words on p.m's ha ha. Smiler

Your brother actually didn't like a movie for a stupid sexist reason??? That's beyond belief!!

My reasons include 1. Poorly directed. 2. Terrible script. 3. Total rip off of other films (not ironic homage).

Only good bit was the Jap girl band. Big Grin

I was surprised I like both Underworld movies. Purchased both of them. They got better with each viewing.

Boy, you got to carry that weight a long time!

"Charlie's Angels". Surprisingly enjoyable film. The Creepy Thin Man fight was very impressive.

Technically, it ripped off almost 30 films.

I was really surprised I liked the movie adaptation, because I hate Nicholas Cage and the plot sounded a little boring... but the acting was quite good, and the story was more original then it seemed. But the ending wasn't very good.

Beauty is in the eye of the chap making copious dollar amounts and the ones imperceptive enough to purchase it. But real beauty is Shawshank Redemption and 2001 a Space Odessey. I hope to create real beauty, but moneys good too.
