Hi,

Does anyone know the name of a movie which featured a young down and out woman whose home was repossessed and then purchased by an Amenian family. The movie was about her fight to get her house back and in the end the father of the Amenian family killed himself and his wife after their son was shot.

The House of Sand and Fog (2003) starring Jennifer Connelly and Ben Kingsley.

Historically, there have been many similar movies, especially at the times when America was dealing with waves of immigrants. Similar topics have been raised since the black and white movie era.
