This is still a legit topic, even though I'm still trying to resurrect some more positive ones (even if you think they're less fun).

Where did you get that nice sun tan?"

although i cant say hes a good director, Bobby's cast was considered an all-star event, with plenty of young talent (and some non-talent, but oh well), and then some big names to really bring in the bucks.

however, thats still one of the worst movies ive ever seen. Horrible dribble.

Bobby was one of favorite movies of 2006. The acting was authentic and natural, the individual threads were well edited together and the slice of life effect made this movie into a fascinating, compelling look at mini-stories surrounding a tragic event in our history.

Elizabethtown is one that immediately comes to mind. I loved "Almost Famous" and really liked "Vanilla Sky", but Elizabethtown, not so much.

Orlando Bloom was better off as a mute, arrow-slinging elf. That was the only role he was good in. Am I the only person who thinks he can't act? Anyway, he was distractingly bad in many of the films scenes. I really wanted to love this film too.

eh, ill stick with dribble. He just throws in every fictional clichee possible, so he can actually make room for his 20-some cameos (some of them really werent even needed), and they all lack coming off as a true character, more just an object for the use of the ending (which takes forever for us to get to). And well, it doesnt add any real passion of Robert Kennedy into it. It could have been a lot better if the humanity in it was put into the right places.

but of course, each to his own. It was a pretty mixed review movie from what i understand, so its hard to get the same opinion on it.
