While watching You can't take it with You I got to wondering why Stewart and Bogart never worked together.

So, please list any living or dead actors who never/haven't worked together who should have!

My 4 : Bogart & Stewart

James Garner & Ryan Gosling.

Leo DiCaprio & Natalie Portman

James Caan & Marlon Brando (kidding!)

I reckon these teams would light up the screen with conflicting personalities and top acting chops! Smiler

Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been,
Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene;
As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be,
So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

I was trying to come up with some, but everytime I thought of a team-up, they'd already teamed up! Red Face I'm not good at thinking of actors who've never acted together before, that's the opposite of "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon", & I'm no good at that game, either. Razzer

Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"

Jennifer Connelly & Zhang Ziyi

In a comedy, which would be a rarity for both actresses.

Bogie and Gable never got to make The Man Who Would Be King, but Huston probably couldn't have topped the one he later made.

Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino never made a film together, unless Alzheimer's is kickin' in.

They might have worked together in The Godfather but then again, Jack was offered the role that Pacino later finally got. Maybe if Jack was a different character while Pacino could have still been Michael.

Here are some dream teams that would be cool, hopefully they haven't already worked together:
Paul Giamatti & Nicole Kidman
Jim Carrey & Will Ferrell
Steve Carell & Vince Vaughn
Leonardo DiCaprio & Don Cheadle
Terrence Howard & Halle Berry
Gael García Bernal & Penelope Cruz
Billy Bob Thornton & Kate Winslet
Jack Nicholson & Will Smith

There are probably a ton more we could think of, come on guys.

Didn't these two work together in The Notebook? Or are you not counting that one since they weren't on camera simultaneously?

Haha, I thought with all of the movie buffs that we have here someone would have caught it already. So when nobody even mentioned it, I just had to ask.

Yeah wouldn't that be great? I figure, why not get two of the best actors, some would consider, the best actors alive, to work together? Am I right or what?? Wink

I love Giamatti, a giant among actors, but Kidman......hell, I wouldn't cross the street to see her naked, juggling chickens. She annoys the hell outta me.

But teaming her w/ Giamatti would be wonderfully strange.... Smiler

Yeah, what's wrong with you Ishmael? Nicole Kidman is stunningly beautiful, no doubt about it.

Come to Oz boys, and I'll show you a flock ( what is the collective noun for women?) of girls with more cutes in their left nostril than Kidman has in her whole cut, shaped, lipo-ed friggin Tom Cruise lovin' frame...

How about Rose Byrne, Miranda Otto, now they are hot Aussie honeys, methinks....

P.S. There is a lot wrong with me Big Grin

You know who are hot girls that grew up in Australia? Isla Fisher and Naomi Watts.

Yes, after grinding their way through Australian soap operas, both Watts & Fisher have won eternal admiration from me; Fisher by hanging out with Sacha Baron Cohen, and Watts for acting in Mulholland Drive & I love Huckabees Smiler
