Not into King and his type of books. Or movies base on his books. But still I heard a lot about him. I am sure someday some one will come along and fill his shoes. Donna A.

Hmmmm.... Good Question Rev.! Hitchcock has always been the greatest horror director in my opinion. But I can't think of who would be the next Stephen King. It's not an easy question for me because I don't watch mainstream or contemporary horror films. I've seen the Shining and never thought of it as Kubrick's best work. I've seen "IT" and I thought the movie was abysmal. I did see Lady in the Water though just to see how bad it was and personally thought it was fair but not anything to see while in the theaters.

I agree with you on "It." It was a disappointment. Initially the clown was creepy but the ending got hokey (if there is such a word).
Boy, you got to carry that weight a long time!
