I knew WNODUNNIT in "The Usual Suspects" in the first five minutes of my first viewing. It's very easy to identify someone's voice, thus killing any "mystery" the film may have had otherwise.
That is understandable, I didn't really notice that myself but I will check it out again and see if I agree with you. And I guess in "The Usual Suspects" if on your first watch, you know "WHODUNNIT" it would sort of ruin your experience with the movie there-after. I love the movie Mark, but I understand why you wouldn't.

I didn't guess the ending either, but I can see how the movie (or any movie) might be considerably less interesting if you've guessed the twist. That's why I ingore the reviews as best I can...to avoid the Sixth Sense phenomena...hyped so far out of the world, I was BOUND to be disappointed.

I like the Usual Suspects, but it'll never hit me harder than it did the first time...

I think the nature of reality is expressed in some way in every film. I think that how well a film depicts this, is how good the film is. Two of my very favourite films are 'The Usual Suspects' and 'The Matrix'.

Blade Runner is an interesting one.

What's real and what's an implanted memory is a topic I'm kind of fascinated by in the movie.
