Actually, Awesome Man, Ishmael was refering to the fact you must enjoy pain, since you made a point to see movies that had titles which already told you they were gonna be awful. Wink

Yeah, what about 5.?

A person who willfully watches lousy movies and brags about it.

I think all your definitions were for masochisM, not masochisT, but I actually enjoyed reading your list. I honestly believe those are some of the worst films ever made, but I have to give you some cool points for watching a film called Frankenfish. Cool

And to tell you the truth, the only one of those I saw was Laser Blast, at the drive-in, at the time of its release. I sincerely give it a D-.

At what Institute do you teach film? What department do you specialize in?

I'm bragging about it, now? Roll Eyes

I don't care about titles. I watched those movies because I thought they would be interesting. I have no joy in watching pieces of shit like those.

Hey, Awesome Man, he was talking about ME! Big Grin I exposed myself as a fan of the premise of "Battlefield Earth" (CAVEMEN IN HARRIER JETS, come on!) not too long ago & he hasn't forgotten it, yet. He is an old timer, so I'm guessing it won't be too long until he's completely forgotten my little slip up. Unless, it's one of those "UNFORGETTABLE" things you always seem to remember about a person. Wink

Wow, you step outside the room for a moment, and all hell breaks loose, ha ha.

Awesome man, why so uppity? My masochist remark had no venom, just a jokey reference to you sitting down to titles that already scream "this is gonna suck".

I had a smiley, for heavens sake! Anyway. have fun at the video store finding more intriguing titles.

I feel like I'm being interrogated...alright, guv'nr, I give in.....I really don't knoe nuthin bout this Truffles diector guy, ha ha.

I teach film in Australian High Schools for yr info, and we cover everything to do with film, every era, most national cinemas, and we make films between sitting around reading Sight & Sound. Smiler

Strangely, it's also one of my favorite movies to watch (with several beers, of course) Smiler

The worst movie ever is without a doubt "Tetsuo: The Iron Man"

Haha, good one Awesome Man. Shaq's movies were a disaster in general, really. The only thing he was in that was remotely decent was Blue Chips, which he's not really a main character in anyway. Kazaam is extremely bad too. Almost as bad as his rap albums.

Underworld Evolution was the worst/ disapointing sequel to an an otherwise potential megastar fireness of blood and sunshine. Can't describe the words for such idocracy.

Hope the third rocks!!

Shineshine of an eternal mind.
Borat. Really poeple, this is actually really, really poor. Taking the wee wee out of americans, is not funny anymore, and it's so very old.
Norbit.

You mean Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, right? I'm shocked to see that movie pop up on anyone's list. I thought it was a very good movie - one of the best of the decade so far, even.
