I'm not sure if others consider this a bad movie, but I LOVED Soldier with Kurt Russell, because it was so difficult to play such an emotionless character. My favorite part is when they kicked him out of the camp, and he's by himself, and sheds a few tears. There was a lot of truth to that. Even if you were raised to not show emotion, you still would feel lonely if you had no one around you. I just wish they had redid the ending. It was WAY too 80s.
I have to agree with MJ88. Plan 9 From Outer Space is the only movie that I can't turn off BECAUSE it's so bad.
Bela Lugosi died during filming, so most of "Ghoul Man"'s scenes were Tom Mason (apparently he was Ed Wood's wifes's chiropractor) with his cape inexplicably covering his face. Mason was obviously younger, thinner, and taller than Lugosi. The first time that I saw this film I kept wondering "Who's this other vampire guy - where did he come from?" until I realised that it's supposed to be the same person.
Even funnier are the scenes of the flying saucers where the string that the "ships" are dangling from are clearly visible. In some scenes the UFOs are even casting shadows on the "space" background.
My favourite, though, is the scene where Colonel Edwards is watching rockets being fired at the UFOs (so, of course, he's meant to be outside) but he is casting a shadow on the skyline behind him. Seriously, how expensive could it be to have the actor do the scene outside?
