There is a scene that’s about half way through this film where Ellen Barkin is seduced by Matt Damon, via some Pheromones he had on his body. The camera does an extreme close up on the two actors, to show the effect of the scent from him to her. When the camera pans to Matt Damon, it shows in excruciating detail that the side of his face is covered with pimples and blackheads. Ok, I get it, we all have breakouts, but in a multi-million dollar movie, they couldn’t afford a little acne cream before they did his big close up? It doesn’t end there however. After the camera goes from the extremely detailed HD close up of him it pans over to Ellen Barkin’s face. I’m not sure what that was on the lower part of her face, but from my TV it looked a whole lot like five’o’clock shadow. Again, multi-million dollar budget, and they couldn’t afford a razor? I don’t know what these people are thinking, but if an actor has those types of imperfections, perhaps the camera shouldn’t be brought in to within an inch of their faces.

The statements I put in bold type only strengthen my argument that porn moving to HD instead of Blu-Ray is not a valid point when it comes to winning the hi-def war. Cool

"I can't live the buttoned down life like all of you! I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky odor - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this Monkey_Boy?!"
